The Christian Veterinary Missions of Canada is a ministry that enables Christians in the Veterinary profession to come together to encourage one another in the Lord. Our organization exists because we want to serve Jesus Christ by helping the poor, the needy, orphans, and widows.

The Poultry Project

Our focus is on Sierra Leone, the poorest country in the world, to provide these farmers with self sustainable chicken farms. 80% of people live in poverty and cannot afford adequate income, health care, or education. We pray that the little things we do will have a multiplying effect to change people’s lives forever.

Our Goal this year is to help 70 families by providing:

• 25 families with flocks of (egg) laying chickens of 100 chickens each
• 2 villages (of 20 to 25 families) with a flock of 1000 (egg) laying chickens each
• 1 village of about 200 orphans with a flock of 1000 egg laying chickens
